Decor

Our colors are lime green, black, and white. The table linens will be black with black chair covers with white ties. Right now, my vision is to incorporate bold, but tasteful splashes of lime. Below are some ideas I love.

I love the look of the sliced limes and the shape of the vase, although I'm not crazy about the poofy thing at the top.

This is my latest centerpiece inspiration. I think I will do something like this, but maybe a bit larger and use white football mums from fiftyflowers.com

Centerpiece Inspiration Board

I want the centerpieces to be made of several smaller vases. Some will have a few flowers and some will have limes and candles.

Unity Candle

Picture
I knew I didn't want a traditional unity candle. Typically I am not into hearts, but I saw this candle holder at Hobby Lobby and fell in love. The fabulous green candles are from Crate and Barrel. The candle is partially hollowed out, so the wick is low into the candle, which should help with the issue of being outdoors. The top candle holder is crooked, so I have to figure out how to fix that.

My Bouquet

I LOVE this bouquet. Update: Met with the florist on 2/5/10 and this is EXACTLY what I'm getting! Yippee!!!

Bridesmaid's Bouquet

Picture
This is roughly what I want for the BM bouquet minus the leaf things surrounding the flowers. Since this doesn't really go with my bouquet, I may see if the florist can incorporate a few white roses to tie them together a little better.

After meeting with the florist we decided that the BM bouquets will be made of: Green hydrangea, green hypericum berries, green pom poms, and white carnations.

Escort Cards

I think this could be cute using limes instead of apples. I just don't want to overkill on the limes.

I like the look of the lime linen behind the simple escort cards.
